Katch Kars Of Lake Sevan The " God Katch Kar"

 The story of the 14 Katch Kars was they hid them above the steeple due to the invasions,back in the 1100-1200 AD year era. In the 1600's there was a great earthquake that rattled the area and all the hidden Katch Kars fell to the floor. That must have caused some amazement!

 This is the Image of God on the Katch Kar-made to look more like the invaders that where coming thru. Genghis Khan's Army was coming thru Armenia so they made the Katch Kar figures look like the invaders so they would not destroy the carved rocks. Long narrow faces.They would say look -They look like us , and leave the stones alone without damage These rocks where used to teach the illiterate the story of the Bible. They where able to point to the graphics and explain the stories.
